What this site is

BuildCalc provides free online calculators that estimate quantities of construction and landscaping materials. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Estimates, not advice

Every number produced by this site is a planning estimate. It is calculated from published industry averages and the inputs you supply, and it cannot account for conditions on your site, the specifications of the material you actually buy, or local requirements.

The calculators are not engineering, architectural, legal or safety advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional. Structural work, retaining walls, foundations, drainage and anything requiring a permit should be reviewed by a licensed engineer or contractor in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for verifying quantities and specifications with your supplier before ordering.
